Do I have to wear a helmet?

Yes, because the Solex is considered a scooter, wearing a helmet is mandatory. You will receive these for free, including a hairnet, and they are regularly cleaned by an antibacterial steam machine.

Do I need a driver's license to drive a Solex?

Yes, to drive a Solex you must have a driving license A, B or AM. Don't have a driver's license? No problem, we offer the E-fatbike as an alternative. This is just as fast as a Solex and can therefore be easily combined.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age for driving a Solex is 16 years. We have the E-fatbike as an alternative for people under the age of 16. E-fat bikes easily keep up with E-choppers in terms of speed and can therefore be easily combined.

What is the maximum speed?

The maximum speed is 25 km/h.

How much does it cost to rent a Solex?

The rate for renting a Solex is €50 for an afternoon and €59.50 for a whole day.

What is the range of a Solex?

The Solex contains enough gasoline to drive a route of 50 km.

What is a solex?

A Solex is comparable to an E-bike. Even with a Solex you just have to pedal. However, the pedal assistance comes from a gasoline-powered engine. The first Solex was sold in the Netherlands in 1948. This way you have an authentic way to travel through Zeeland with the Solex. Because the Solex is a moped, wearing a helmet is mandatory.
