Description: In spring, the beautiful orchards are in full bloom. Enjoy the nature (shaped by dikes and agricultural plots) and the center of Heinkenszand. A walk around the church and windmill is a must. Also enjoy the catering establishments that Nature Park De Schaapskooi has to offer.

Central Zeeland Route

Description: From Nieuwvliet, you'll ride to Groede and through the Groese polder, a beautiful green area. Then you'll ride along the Zeeland coast to Cadzand-Bad. Enjoy the dunes and the beautiful views. There are plenty of food and drink options along the route. You'll cycle back to Nieuwvliet past charming towns like Sluis and Oostburg.

South Beveland Route

Description: From Kortgene, cross the water to discover the vast landscape in the South Beveland pocket. After arriving at the port of Wolphaartsdijk, you'll cycle below Heinkenszand to the Zeeland sheepfold for a stopover. From here, you'll cycle back to Kortgene via 's-Heer Hendrikskinderen.

Your route through Zeeland

Zeeland is a unique and beautiful landscape to explore by e-chopper. The most beautiful province in the Netherlands (at least that's what we think...) offers a bit of everything: historic towns and villages, tourist destinations like Oostkapelle and Cadzand-Bad, interspersed with expansive polders and stunning views of the North Sea, Oosterschelde, and Westerschelde.

South Beveland is characterized by successive periods of land reclamation and flooding, created by dikes around polders.
The "Zak van Zuid-Beveland" (South Beveland Pocket) is a large fruit-growing area (primarily blackberries, apples, and pears), located entirely within the municipality of Borsele. It is especially popular in spring for its blossoming fruit trees. The area is also very popular for its small-scale landscape, with small agricultural plots surrounded by dikes and hawthorn hedges. Walcheren is very popular for its beautiful coastline, the highest dunes in the Netherlands, and its many restaurants and cafes. A little further inland, you'll find historic cities such as Vlissingen, Middelburg, Arnemuiden, and Veere. Walcheren also boasts interesting sights, such as the Boulevard in Vlissingen, Midden-Zeeland Airport near Arnemuiden, and the fish market in Vlissingen. Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is characterized by its expansive landscape and stunning coastline.
