Frequently asked questions

To ride an e-chopper or solex, you need at least a moped license (AM). If you have a car or motorcycle license, you'll automatically need a moped license. No driver's license is required to ride an e-fatbike or e-bike. 

Our Solexes and e-choppers are checked and refueled or charged after every ride. However, it's possible you might experience a breakdown. In case of a breakdown, you can always call 06-23547844 . We'll arrive as quickly as possible with a replacement vehicle.

In case of bad weather, you can rebook your reservation by phone up to 24 hours in advance. Need to cancel your reservation? You can do so free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. After that, we are required to charge 20% of the booking amount.

There's ample free parking on-site at the Heinkenszand departure point (Nieuwkamerseweg 3). We can also secure the parking area to prevent access to your car if no one is present at the departure point. 

We assume you will handle the rented vehicles responsibly. Therefore, we expect them to be returned in good condition. Therefore, we do not charge a deposit. 

If you'd like to follow your own route to a location of your choice, that's possible. For groups of 15 or more (depending on models, numbers, and preferences), we offer a pick-up and delivery service. If you'd like the vehicles delivered/picked up within Zeeland, we charge €150 for this service within Zeeland. 

The standard boarding location is on our own grounds at Heinkenszandseweg 56a in Heinkenszand . Ample parking is available here for larger groups.

All vehicles are supplied with a fully charged battery. With average use, a full battery will last you approximately 50 kilometers.

Our routes are shorter than 50 kilometers, so with normal use you can complete the entire route without recharging along the way. 

You can rent our vehicles for a morning, afternoon or a whole day. 

If you've rented a vehicle for the morning, you can explore the island between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. If you've rented a vehicle for the afternoon, you can use it between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. If you've booked the entire day, you can start your route from 9:30 AM and return to the boarding point in Heinkenszand before 5:00 PM.

All our vehicles are suitable for one adult per vehicle. However, it is possible to install a child seat for the very youngest on our e-choppers. We can also install footrests for older children.

You can also start at a location of your choice. We'll deliver the e-choppers to a location of your choosing. We do this for bachelor parties and company outings delivery/pickup fees apply .

Since 2023, it has been mandatory to wear a helmet when operating an e-chopper or solex. 

It is not mandatory for an E-fatbike and E-bike, but it is extra safe.

Yes, we can install child seats on both the front and back of the E-chopper. We recommend a rear seat for children aged between two and five years. For the front, we recommend a seat for children aged nine months to two years.
